There are many types and varieties of people on Earth. However, some differ from others. When a character is created, their immediate OOC classification must be noted within their application. Here are the available classifications.
Hamon Users are the bane of the mythical Vampire, a martial artist that thrives off their breath.
Focused breathing is essential to unleashing the power of this martial art.
Any disruption may spell their doom in a combat encounter; you have been warned.
「Pro」
+ Hamon Users can combat Vampires with ease, particularly on contact
+ Up to 3 Overdrive techniques can be created for personal use
+ Hamon can weaponize even strands of hair, given practice
+ Retain youth for extended periods of time (up to several decades)
「Con」
- Cannot harm or affect Stands
- Will be handicapped if breathing is unavailable
- Cannot maim or harm any living beings with Hamon
- Requires months (at minimum) of training to acquire if a Non-User beforehand
"I REJECT MY HUMANITY, JOJO!" - Dio Brando
「Vampire」
(Also known as Vampires)
"Because it appears next to you, that vision is called...a Stand!" - Joseph Joestar
「Stand User」
Users with an apparition that remains beside them; a Stand.
Stands, like Humans, come in varying shapes, sizes, etc.
Only their powers can vary further beyond that, surely.
Multiple types of Stands exist, all appearing on how their User acts, believes, speaks, fights, etc.
A supernatural ability that reflects the owner.
「Pro」
+ Possess and control a supernatural entity with various and/or superhuman capabilities
+ Reflects you as a person, even bestowing its power to you for your purposes
+ Freely activated and deactivated at will
+ Can transform into a Requiem Stand, if access to an Arrow is plausible & the Arrow has chosen the Stand
「Con」
- Any damage done to the Stand is reflected upon the User
- The Stand cannot do anything on it's own; the User must control it
(Unless a specific power states that the Stand can control itself or cannot be controlled)
- Stats will dictate the Stand's performance in various areas
- Restrictions will apply w/ Stand creation due to the overpowered nature of Stands
- Must be struck by an Arrow and survive if a character is a Non-Stand User beforehand
"Hermit Purple, infused with Hamon, is like a high-voltage wire wrapped around your body, isn't it?" - DIO
「Double User」
Double Users, be it on accident or by another purpose, possess the powers of Hamon and a Stand.
Both powers mesh together, be it fruitfully or as a poor combination.
Regardless, two mighty capabilities are bound to be useful, yes?
「Pro」
+ Hamon and a 「Stand」 are usable simultaneously
+ Vampires and other Stand Users can be equally combated
+ Both powers are at your disposal at any time, as long as breathing is regulated and you're conscious
+ Double Users can have one Overdrive technique and one Stand Ability
「Con」
- Double User Stands cannot transform into Requiem Stands
- Hamon is less potent due to the Stand being present and both having to be regulated
- Double User Stands will be just as restricted as other normal Stand Users
- If a Double User's breathing is restricted, uneven, unavailable, etc., the Stand will weaken
- Must meet Stand User and Hamon User requirements to be a Double User without being one beforehand
"If you need me I'll come no matter where it is. Though I might just get in the way." - Robert E. O. Speedwagon
「Citizen」
Generic men and women found in the streets of any country, Citizens are common folk.
No special powers, no Stands, no Hamon; nothing.
With what wits they have and perhaps with what weapon they may possess,
Citizens must make do in a world inhabited by the supernatural...if faced with one such supernatural beings.
「Pro」
+ Adaptable; able to carry up to 3 weapons to handle Users
+ Techniques become Tricks, that of which are less restricted
+ Citizens are able to shift into any other classification if so desired. (This isn't required)
+ Citizens may start with extra Willpower or an extra NPC ally* (who is also a Citizen)
「Con」
- Stand Users can easily dispatch Citizens
- Citizens are unable to defeat Vampires unless supported by someone who can
- May or may not need Forced Ripple Breathing performed on them to learn & practice Hamon
- Cannot see Stands at all
"Courage must know fear and make fear its own! Fear upsets breathing! Conquer fear and your breath will never fail you! Hamon breathing comes from courage!" - William A. Zeppeli
